We are arriving at Sunshine Coast Airport an will pick up the car. We are heading to Hervey Bay. Maddigan’s Seafood might be a good spot to pick up dinner.

Maryborough Story Trail A short walking tour showing inspiration for the Mary Poppins book by P. J Travellers Free

Mary Poppins Statue Located on the corner of Kent and Richmond streets a statue of Mary Poppins stands proudly as recognition of Maryborough’s link with the famous nanny.

Nala Have a whale of a time and a blowhole lot of fun with Nala, the 22-tonne pride of Hervey Bay!

Hervey Bay Botanic Gardens Nice spot to walk around. Cute little Japanese Gardens

Urangan Pier Really long pier. Should be a nice spot for sunset

Day 2

Fraser Island

Depart Hervey Bay Courtesy pickup from Hervey Bay accommodation.

Ferry from River Heads 8:30am - 9:30am

Central Station / Wanggoolba Creek Enjoy a relaxing walk along the rainforest broadwalk

Lake McKenzie A short stop for 30mins to have a swim in the crystal clear waters.

Pile Valley Experience the tranquil nature of Fraser Island by walking through the tall ancient rainforest trees.

Eli Creek Take a stroll through the clear waters of Eli Creek where the fish are so docile they swim through your toes.

Maheno Shipwreck Visit the famous shipwreck of Fraser Island. Where a cyclone in 1935 forced her to the sands.

Pinnacle coloured Sands Experience the very famous coloured sands of Fraser Island. Constructing a beautiful rainbow colours.

Return to Hervey Bay Drop off Courtesy bus to Hervey Bay Accommodation.
